Is the Free plan really free on a live store?
Yes. Install, build upsell funnels, run A/B tests and take one-click post-purchase upsells on a live store for $0, up to 100 store orders a month. Offers on the Free plan show a small “Powered by Cart X” badge; every paid plan removes it.
How do I remove the “Powered by Cart X” badge?
Upgrade to Grow ($19/month) or any paid plan and the badge disappears immediately. You do not need to reach 100 orders first: the order limits are ceilings, not entry requirements, so a store with 10 orders a month can be on Grow from day one.
I am on the $9.99 Starter plan. Does anything change?
No. Starter is no longer offered to new merchants, but existing subscribers keep it at $9.99 with the same 250-order limit, no badge, and every feature. You can move to Grow, Scale or Unlimited whenever your volume calls for it.
Is there a cap on how much upsell revenue I can generate?
No, on any plan. Whether Cart X earns you $200 or $200,000 in a month, your price does not change. Plans are tiered only by your store's total order count.
Do you take a commission or percentage of upsell revenue?
Never. Every plan is a flat monthly price with 0% commission. There are no per-order fees, no usage charges and no overages, unlike upsell apps that bill 1% to 2.5% of the revenue they generate for you.
Which orders count toward my plan?
All orders your store receives in a calendar month, whether or not they include an upsell. It is the same number you see in your Shopify orders report. Test orders and cancelled orders are not counted.
What happens when I pass my plan's order limit?
You will see it coming in the app well before you reach the limit, along with the plan you would move to. Upgrading takes one click and is confirmed through Shopify. Offers keep running so you never lose a sale.
Can I downgrade or cancel?
Any time, from inside the app or by uninstalling. Charges appear on your normal Shopify invoice and stop the moment you cancel.
Are all features available on every plan?
Yes. Unlimited upsell funnels, in-cart popup upsells, one-click post-purchase upsells and downsells, thank you page offers and customization, targeting rules, A/B testing and analytics are included on every plan, including Free.
